Після важкого дня на роботі, я, як завжди, взяла сумочку, накинула плащ і побігла на зупинку маршрутки. Якраз під’їхав потрібний номер, і я встигла буквально в останню мить. Застрибнула в салон, почала шукати в сумці гаманець, щоб дістати гроші для оплати, і тут зрозуміла, що залишила його на роботі. Я подумала, можливо, в кишенях є хоча б кілька копійок – і там пусто.
Що ж тепер робити і як оплатити проїзд?
Боже, як же мені ніяково! Водій не зводить з мене очей у дзеркалі та повторює: «Прошу всіх оплатити за проїзд». Я продовжую нишпорити по всіх закутках сумочки в пошуках хоча б однієї гривні, але все марно. Раптом на дотик натрапляю на плитку молочного шоколаду, яку мені подарувала вранці колега з нагоди мого іменин. Як вдало, що я вирішила її взяти сьогодні в сумочку.
І тут мене осяяло: я вирішила заплатити за проїзд не грошима, яких в мене не було, а … шоколадкою. Передала її через чоловіка попереду себе зі словами: «Передайте водію, будь ласка!». Звичайно, всі, в кого вона переходила з рук у руки, починали голосно сміятися.
Нарешті, шоколадка дійшла до водія. Він був здивований, але зовсім не незадоволений, а навпаки. Вирішив підняти настрій усім пасажирам і повернув мені здачу. Уявляєте?! До мене повернулися три шоколадні цукерки і дві карамельки.
