Я вийшла заміж у 18 років. Мій чоловік Петро був старший за мене на 20 років. Його ввічливість і красиві слова зачарували мене, так що я закохалася. Рік потому у нас народилася дочка Олеся, а згодом син Михайлик.
Петро підтримував мене у всьому, з його допомогою я стала на ноги і завершила навчання в університеті. Коли наш молодший син досяг трирічного віку, мій чоловік зібрав свої речі і зник з нашого життя назавжди.
Я довго плакала, не знала, як вижити самій з двома дітьми. Не мала жодної допомоги, отже не могла працювати. Аліменти були всього 500 гривень, як можна за це прожити? Потім дочка пішла до школи, а син отримав місце в дитячому садку, і я нарешті змогла піти на роботу.
Тоді з’явився Петро, почав благати про прощення і хотів повернутися додому, але я йому сказала:
– Ми навчилися жити без тебе, жодного разу ти не згадав про дітей, а тепер просиш вибачення? Іди і більше не повертайся в наше життя.
За місяць він подав на мене до суду, сподіваючись повернути дітей, але, звичайно, програв, Олеся і Михайлик залишилися зі мною.
Півроку по тому я дізналася, чому Петро захотів помиритися. Його батько склав заповіт на користь наших дітей, Петро залишився ні з чим. Тепер це вже все минуле, але я досі пам’ятаю, як це було — ділитися з дітьми крихтою хліба і голодувати тижнями.
