Коштовний подарунок за ціну втрати кохання
Олена натрапила у кишені халата на маленьку оксамитову коробочку й міцно стиснула її в долоні. Серце билося так, ніби хотіло вискочити з грудей. За стіною гудів телевізор — Тарас дивився вечірні новини, як це робив щодня протягом двадцяти семи років їхнього спільного життя.
“Оленко, чаю хочеш?” — покликав чоловік із вітальні.
“Зараз”, — відповіла вона, не відпускаючи коробочку. — “Трохи ще подам.”
Вона стояла біля кухонного вікна й споглядала, як сусідські дітлахи ганяють м’яча між машинами. Звичайний вечір, але сьогодні все здавалося особливим, ніби вона бачить це востаннє.
