Я вийшла заміж у 18 років. Мій чоловік, Петро, був на 20 років старшим за мене. Його ввічливість і красномовність мене зачарували, я закохалася. Через рік у нас народилася донька Олеся, а згодом син Тарас.
Петро підтримував мене у всьому, з його допомогою я встала на ноги і закінчила університет. Коли наш молодший син виповнився 3 роки, мій чоловік зібрав речі і зник з нашого життя назавжди.
Я довго плакала, не уявляла, як вижити сама з двома дітьми. Не маючи жодної допомоги, я не могла працювати. Аліменти становили 500 гривень, як можна було на це жити? Пізніше донька пішла до школи, а син влаштувався у дитячий садок, і я нарешті змогла влаштуватися на роботу.
Тоді раптом з’явився мій чоловік, почав благати про прощення і хотів повернутись, але я йому сказала:
— Ми навчились жити без тебе, ти жодного разу не подумав про дітей, а тепер просиш вибачення? Йди і більше не повертайся до нашого життя.
Місяць потому він подав на мене до суду, сподіваючись повернути дітей, звісно, програв справу, Олеся і Тарас залишились зі мною.
Через пів року я дізналася, чому він захотів примирення. Його батько склав заповіт на наших дітей, Петро залишився без нічого. Тепер вже все позаду, але я досі пам’ятаю, як воно — ділити шматок хліба і голодувати тижнями разом з дітьми.
