Чи бачила ти когось свого віку і задумувалась?
Коли-небудь ви дивилися на людину свого віку й думали: «Ні, це неможливо! Я ж так не виглядаю… чи не так?»
Ось історія, яка трапилася з моєю знайомою:
— Мене звати Оксана. Я чекала на автобус на зупинці, а коли зайшла всередину, помітила бейдж водія. Там було його прізвище — і воно мені щось нагадало.
Раптом я згадала високого симпатичного хлопця з темним волоссям, за яким таємно закохувалася в школі… майже 35 років тому.
На мить мене пройняло: «Невже це він? Той самий хлопець, про якого я мріяла?»
Але, придивившись до водія, я відкинула цю думку. Він був лисий, з сивиною, зморшкуватий, із помітним животиком — виглядав набагато старше!
Та все одно я не втрималась і спитала:
— Вибачте, а ви випадково не вчилися в школі №35?
— Так, вчився! — відповів він, посміхаючись.
— А який рік закінчення?
— 1982… А що?
Тоді я випалила:
— Ми ж були однокласниками!
Він прискіпливо подивився на мене…
І тоді…
ЦЕЙ ЧОЛОВІК…
ЛИСИЙ,
СИВИЙ,
З МОРЩИНАМИ,
З ЛЕГКОЮ ПОВНОТОЮ,
ІЗ ВТОМЛЕНИМ ПОГЛЯДОМ І ПОВІЛЬНОЮ ХОДОЮ…
…ПИТАЄ МЕНЕ:
— А ви який предмет викладали, пані?
—
З того дня я ніколи не суджу людей за зовнішністю.
