Ні! Це – «велосипедне кладовище» на околиці Ханчжоу, Китай.
Це – тисячі велосипедів, які іржавіють за межами міста. Їх вилучила поліція після провалу соціальної кампанії.
Велосипеди зазвичай вирішують проблеми екології. Але для Ханчжоу, населення якого становить 9 мільйонів чоловік, вони створили купу труднощів.
У 2008 році була запущена спеціальна програма. Жителі могли брати будь-який безкоштовний велосипед і їхати на роботу.
Програма стала великим успіхом для міста, рівень забруднення повітря зменшився.
Але ці велосипеди потрібно було залишати на спеціальних парковках і відзначати місце на смартфоні. Це вносило певні проблеми. Тому з’явилася альтернативна компанія, яка дозволяла залишати велосипеди, де-завгодно.
Це викликало невдоволення місцевих жителів, оскільки люди реально залишали велосипеди, де хотіли.
В результаті, понад 23 000 велосипедів були вилучені поліцією.
Ось так благі наміри можуть стати екологічною катастрофою!
