Дівчина, яка 5 років носила кільця на шиї, нарешті вирішила їх зняти

На які ж тільки хитрощі не йдуть дівчата, щоб виглядати ще більш красивими. Проте, деякі вдаються до радикальних методів, які шокують оточуючих. Австралійка Санді Тьюфорд вирішила видовжити собі шию за допомогою металевих кілець, які вона носила, не знімаючи, цілих 5 років.
Прикладом для неї слугували жінки із плем’я падаунг, які з 5 років вдягають на шию кільця і з віком кілець стає все більше і більше (найбільше 20 кілець і їх вага 5 кг).
Туристи прозвали представниць такого плем’я жінки-жирафи, настільки гарна та видовжена шия у них.
Легенда розповідає, що падаунги з’явились від жінки-дракона, коханим якої був вітер. Коли він взнав, що його улюблениця чекає дитину від нього, то від щастя почав кружити навколо неї. Через деякий час вона народила кокон, в якому знаходився падаунг. Тому всі жінки носять на шиї кільця, які символізують кола вітру, який кружляв біля жінки-дракона.
Санді дуже надихнулась історією цього плем’я, що вирішила сама стати їм подібною. Батьки і близькі розуміли небезпеку такого методу і відмовляли дівчину. Проте, красуня дотримувалась своєї думки і напротязі 5 років носила кільця.
Хоч ріст дівчини припиняється до 19 років, проте Санді стверджує, що її шия виросла на 4 см. Напевно австралійка хотіла якимсь чином зробити себе популярною і сама себе “прив’язала”.
