Коли дві породіллі зустрілися: історія про народження та несподіване родство.
Одного разу до лікарні привезли дві породіллі. Одна народила дівчинку, а друга через годину хлопчика. Згодом з’ясувалося, що вони сестри.
Марічка і Павло одружені п’ять років. Спочатку планували пожити для себе, а вже потім думати про дітей. Павло працював на будівництві, а Марічка – акушеркою в пологовому будинку. Через шість років Марічка стала задумуватись, чому в них досі немає дітей. Вирішила обстежитись, не повідомляючи чоловіка.
Результати засмутили її: виявилось, що вона не може мати дітей. Увечері вона одразу розповіла про це Павлу, щоб він не страждав разом із нею. Натомість Павло запевнив, що не залишить дружину, і вони більше не поверталися до цієї теми. Марічка важко переживала цю новину. Вибрала професію, щоб допомагати дітям з’являтися на світ, але сама не може народити. З часом біль вщухла, але залишилася порожнеча і усвідомлення, що рано чи пізно Павло може покинути її.
І ось знову до пологового привезли дві породіллі. Одна народила дівчинку, а друга – хлопчика. Невдовзі стало відомо, що ці породіллі – сестри. Їхні батьки навіть не усвідомлюють, що стали бабусею і дідусем. Наступного дня обидві жінки написали відмови. Такого в пологовому ще не було. Після відмови вони втекли.
Вдома Марічка розповіла Павлу про двох новонароджених, від яких відмовились. Вона вирішила, що це єдина їхня можливість мати дітей. Павло одразу погодився: син і дочка – гаразд. Пішов місяць на оформлення документів. І ось Павло зустрічає щасливу дружину біля пологового будинку з двома конвертами. Всі друзі вірили, що близнят народила сама Марічка, настільки вони схожі на неї.

An elderly woman passing by politely asked him: – Young man, would you please calm yourself? The lad looked at her, baffled, and replied: – Granny’s pregnant too! Hoo-ha-ha-ha… His girlfriend giggled softly, both of them with equally vacant expressions. With some effort, I managed not to start an argument with the pregnant girl. Next, the soon-to-be dad launched into a new topic—food. – I’m famished! Ya-ya-ya-ya-ya… – I’m hungry, and it’ll be another half hour in this queue… – Let’s go get sausage rolls! We’ll come back after! – I don’t want sausage rolls. – You’ve become so picky! Hoo-ha-ha-ha… Everyone’s head was pounding from listening to them, but thank goodness, the pair finally left—I don’t know if they went for sausage rolls or pasties, but that was irrelevant.
