Коли привезли дві породіллі, одна народила дівчинку, а інша за годину народила хлопчика. Згодом з’ясувалося, що вони рідні сестри.
Марина та Андрій одружені вже п’ять років. Спочатку планували пожити для себе, а згодом замислитися про дітей. Андрій працював на будівництві, а Марина — акушеркою в пологовому будинку. Пройшло шість років, і Марина почала задумуватися, чому в них немає дітей. Вирішила пройти обстеження, нічого не кажучи чоловікові.
Результати засмутили її. Вона дізналася, що не може мати дітей. Увечері розповіла про це Андрію, вважаючи, що він має право знати. Проте Андрій сказав, що не залишить її. Вони більше не підіймали цю тему, хоча Марина важко переживала. Вона обрала професію, щоб допомагати дітям з’являтися на світ, та сама не могла народити. З часом біль змінився пустотою і усвідомленням, що одного дня Андрій може піти.
Якось привезли двох породіль: одна народила дівчинку, інша — хлопчика через годину. Згодом з’ясувалося, що вони рідні сестри. Батьки не знали, що стали бабусею і дідусем. Наступного дня обидві написали заяви про відмову. Таке в пологовому будинку сталося вперше. Після цього сестри зникли.
Вдома Марина розповіла Андрію про дітей, від яких відмовилися, і що це їхній єдиний шанс мати родину. Андрій відразу погодився, син і донька — чому б і ні. На оформлення всіх документів пішов місяць. An elderly woman passing by politely asked him: – Young man, would you please calm yourself? The lad looked at her, baffled, and replied: – Granny’s pregnant too! Hoo-ha-ha-ha… His girlfriend giggled softly, both of them with equally vacant expressions. With some effort, I managed not to start an argument with the pregnant girl. Next, the soon-to-be dad launched into a new topic—food. – I’m famished! Ya-ya-ya-ya-ya… – I’m hungry, and it’ll be another half hour in this queue… – Let’s go get sausage rolls! We’ll come back after! – I don’t want sausage rolls. – You’ve become so picky! Hoo-ha-ha-ha… Everyone’s head was pounding from listening to them, but thank goodness, the pair finally left—I don’t know if they went for sausage rolls or pasties, but that was irrelevant.
