Після важкого робочого дня, як завжди, я взяла свою сумку, накинула плащ і побігла на зупинку. Саме під’їхав потрібний мені автобус, я встигла добігти. Заплигую в маршрутку, починаю шукати в сумочці гаманець, щоб дістати банкноту та розрахуватися, і розумію, що залишила його на роботі. Думала, можливо, в кишенях знайду хоч якісь копійки – але і там пусто.
Що ж тепер робити і як оплатити проїзд?
Боже, як же мені соромно! Ще й водій постійно кидає погляди у дзеркало заднього виду і каже: «Прошу усіх, хто зайшов, оплатити за проїзд». Я продовжую нишпорити по всіх закутках сумки в пошуках хоч якоїсь гривні, та все намарно. Раптом в руки мені потрапила молочна шоколадка, яку подарувала зранку колега на честь мого дня ангела. Як же добре, що я її вранці кинула в сумку.
І тут мене осінило: я вирішила платити за проїзд не грошима, яких у мене не було, а… шоколадкою. Я передала її чоловікові, який стояв переді мною, зі словами: «Передайте водієві, будь ласка!». Без сумніву, кожен, кому вона потрапляла до рук, починав голосно і заразно сміятися.
Нарешті моя шоколадка опинилася в руках водія. Він був шокований, що це не гроші, але зовсім не злий, а навпаки. Вирішив підняти настрій абсолютно кожному в його автобусі, тому передав мені решту. Уявляєте?! До мене повернулися три шоколадні цукерки і дві карамельні.
