Не всім же бути такими довгожилами, як ти! відповіла Соломія на різкість чоловіка. А дівчина має бути тендітною та витонченою!
А ще тихою, слухняною та покірною! Чого тобі бракує! Тарас розстібнув ремінь і витягнув його із штанів. Виховуватиму, як діди наказували!
Ти з глузду зʼїхав? відступила далі Соломія. Ти мене що, бити збираєшся?
Виховувати! Тарас оскалився. І карати за довгий язик! Ти ж мою матір сьогодні мало не до інфаркту довела!
А хай не везе дурниць! відповіла Соломія. З якого біса я маю знімати туфлі, які, між іншим, у пакеті принесла, щоб одягати її смердючі капці? Не з моїм зростом, знаєш, на низькому ході виступати!
Нормальні капці! наступаючи, проказав Тарас. Для гостей!
А з яких це пір гості мають мити посуд, а потім і плиту? трохи нахиливши голову, спитала Соломія. До того ж, не терплю, коли мені наказують!
Ось тому зараз і отримаєш! Ти моя жінка, а поводишся, неначе королівна недобита! Зараз добʼю, щоб чоловіка поважала! І його рідних шанувала!
