Соломія йшла додому в ранніх осінніх сутінках. Вуличні ліхтарі, як завжди, горіли не всі, а в подвір’ях їх і зовсім не було. Перед під’їздом завжди восени стояла велика калюжа. А припарковані машини не давали обійти її. Але сьогодні калюжі не було, хоча весь день моросив дощик. Вона зникла.
Соломія відчинила вхідні двері й озирнулась. Світло з під’їзду падало на блискучий мокрий асфальт. «Не здалося. Дива, та й годі».
