This Is Exactly What I Did When I Found Two Cruise Vouchers in My Husband’s Pocket—And One Had Another Woman’s Name on It
Thats exactly what I did when I found two vouchers for a sea cruise in my husbands pocket. One of them had the name of the other woman on it.
I first met my husband, William, at the bus stop. As luck would have it, I lost my keys while pulling my purse from my bag. It was dark, and I was struggling to find them. William helped me search for my keys. I thanked him. As it turned out, we were waiting for the same bus.
William walked me home that evening. We started seeing each other, and six months later, we got married. William always said he fell in love with me at first sight. We had a wonderful life togetherit was blissful for three years. Then William landed a new job. Not long after, I began to notice changes in his behaviour. I kept quiet, telling myself I was probably overthinking things. Then, one day, William told me he would be away for two weeks on a business trip.
Later that evening, as William went to have a shower, I decided to wash his trousers and found two tickets for a cruise tucked into his pocket. One of the tickets had a girls name I didnt recognise. He had simply betrayed me and trampled all over my trust and affection.
I felt furious with my husband and decided to get back at him. I loved him so much, and I had trusted him with all my heart. I said nothing to William. Instead, I rang up my old school friend, James, who Id always had a good relationship with, and asked him for a favour. Together, James and I went to the very same place William had taken his mistress. We pretended to be lovers. When William spotted us, he immediately came over, accusing me of cheating on him. I calmly replied:
So, you really thought you could cheat on me, but I couldnt do the same to you? I found someone for myself rather quickly, didnt I?
Nearby stood Charlotte, Williams lover. She looked absolutely stunned. It turned out she hadnt known William was married at all. He was cheating on both of us. Before long, William and I got a divorce. I simply couldnt forgive his betrayal.
Six months later, James and I got married, and I am truly happy with him. Charlotte and William broke up as wellshe could never forgive William for hiding his marriage from her.
