I Believe That the More Children You Have, the Better It Is…
My wife and I are both forty-four years old now. Just a month and a half ago, we became parents again. We already had five children, all boys, and at last, we welcomed a daughter!
Our story together started youngwe met in secondary school. Fate had it that our first child was born when my wife was only sixteen. That never lessened our love for each other; in fact, it made our bond even stronger, and we married quickly not long after.
My parents have always been supportive of us, and when we learned, aged twenty, that we were expecting a second child, everyone was over the moon.
One day, my mum shared with me that she would have loved to have at least two children herself, but she and my dad weren’t able to, so they cherished looking after their grandchildren.
Fatherhood hasnt always been a walk in the parkthere have been worrying moments, especially when the kids fall ill, and plenty of funny and sad times, particularly following family arguments. Still, none of it has ever diminished my love for my children or my wife. I firmly believe that as long as we are able, we ought to bring children into the world. My wife and I feel blessed, and we havent any plans to stop; we would love to have more.
Do you think this perspective is sound? At the end of the day, Ive learned that family, with all its ups and downs, is truly what matters most.
