His Mum and I Were Ready for This Day to Arrive, and So It Did! We Never Expected It to Happen at Such a Young Age, But We Welcomed His Girlfriend With Open Arms.

You know, I adore my son, I really do. Ever since he was born, Ive done everything within my power to give him the very best in life.

With my wife by my side, we made sure to meet all his wishes. He always had the nicest clothes, went to all sorts of hobby clubs, and although he had everything a kid could want, he never once failed to respect usme and his mum.

I work long hours, sometimes into the night, just to provide for him. But honestly, I dont mind it. If he ever needed me, Id always make time for him, no matter what.

My lads always been a good one, and I figured that sooner or later, hed start showing an interest in girls. My wife and I were well prepared for that day, and sure enough, it came roundsooner than wed expected, Ill admit! Still, we welcomed his girlfriend with open arms. The only thing we asked was to have her round for dinner, just so we could get to know her a bit. He wasnt fussed at allin fact, he offered to bring her over the next time they met up.

My wife thought it was a cracking idea. We were quite sure hed picked a decent girl, but naturally, we wanted to meet her and be certainhe’s still just a young man, after all.

So, when my son brought her home, I was honestly surprised. At first, she seemed lovelyvery polite, friendly enough. But as we spent more time around her, I started to notice things. She turned out to be rather dishonesta real schemer. It all became clear that she wasnt really bothered about anyone but herself.

I work for the local police in Manchester, and I remembered hearing about her being a suspect in a banking scam. She apparently would meet lads online, pretend she was an orphan, take their money, and then block them everywhere. Shed left behind a string of gullible blokes.

I sat my son down and told him straight what Id found out, but he just wouldnt have it. He shouted at me, accused me of making it all up just to ruin his happiness. Then, he packed up his things and moved in with her.

Its been a month now and we havent heard a peep from him. Its got me questioning if maybe I made a misstepwhat if shes turned over a new leaf, or maybe someones set her up?
