My Ex-Wife Tried to Sue Me for Half the House, But She Didn’t Expect That I Had Already Planned Everything in Advance

Published

on

My relationship with my ex ended with us facing each other in court. I wont point fingers or declare who was to blamerelationships always involve fault on both sides.
The truth is, my second wife found herself a lover. Hes a wealthy businessman who came to our city years ago, eventually setting up a cosy little café in the centre. At first, she tried to keep her affair with him quiet, but it wasnt long before she stopped bothering to hide it at all.
Eventually, she came to me and dropped the bombshell: she was filing for divorce and intended to sue me for half of our house. She expected me to get flustered and anxious, but the flat was purchased entirely with my hard-earned money. My ex had nothing to do with the property, apart from living in it for two years. Now, she has the nerve to make her claim.
I kept my composure. I didnt even try to talk her out of taking the matter to court. I simply waited for her to lose and foot her own legal bill. Id already had a bad experience with my first wife. That court case dragged on for over three years. We could never reach any agreement, and every hearing became a spectacle.
Eventually, my first wife managed to get what she wantedshe sued me for half of my assets. She had a sharp solicitor by her side. My ex left me without the house Id inherited from my father.
But I handled things much smarter when it came to my second wife. Before marrying her, I already owned a flat, which Id renovated myself, but had registered in my brothers name. Hes the one person I trust without hesitation. So, when the divorce came around, it turned out I had nothing. After my first failed marriage, no woman could ever catch me out again.
